Frequently Asked Questions

You probably have questions. Here are the ones we hear most often - answered plainly.

After your website or system goes live, we don't disappear. We offer ongoing support and maintenance that includes regular updates, security monitoring, performance checks, and direct access to our team when something needs attention. Support packages are flexible depending on the size and complexity of your system.

It depends on what we've built and what problem it's solving. A new website that's properly set up with search visibility in mind can get traffic within days or weeks and can start generating inquiries within 2-6 months, depending on factors such as content, competition and marketing. A management system typically starts showing its value within the first month of use, as manual tasks get automated and your team stops losing time to repetitive work. We'll be honest with you about realistic expectations before the project starts.

Every project is scoped individually, final pricing depends on what you need: the features, integrations, and scale of your specific project. We give you a price before we start. You can fill in our Request a Quote form and we'll get back with an honest estimate.

A general guide: A standard business website typically takes 3 to 5 weeks from kickoff to launch. An eCommerce store or website with custom features usually takes 5 to 8 weeks. A custom management system, portal, or ERP takes 2 to 5 months depending on the complexity and number of modules involved. Mobile apps vary based on features and platforms, but typically 3 to 6 months. Timelines are agreed upfront before we start. If you have a specific deadline - a launch event, a financial year end, a stakeholder presentation - tell us early and we'll plan around it.

Yes. We work with clients across East Africa and beyond. We've handled projects remotely without it affecting the quality or communication. If you're based in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, or elsewhere on the continent, we'd still love to hear what you're working on.

Yes, and we do this fairly regularly. If your current system needs updating, or you've inherited something that isn't quite working the way it should - we can assess what you have, explain what needs fixing, and we will take over the maintenance and development from there. Send us the details and we'll take a look.

Yes - as part of our website development service, we offer analytics and performance monitoring so you can see how your site is doing over time. This includes tracking visitor numbers, where your traffic is coming from, which pages are performing well, and regular reports that translate that data into plain language. You don't need to understand analytics tools yourself - we summarise what matters and flag anything that needs attention.

Completely. Everything we build for you belongs to you - the code, the design, the content, and the data. You are never locked into working with us to keep it running. We hand over full documentation and access at the end of every project. You're free to bring in another team in future if you ever need to, though we'd obviously prefer you stick with us.

Not as much as you might think - especially at the beginning. A short conversation about what you're trying to achieve is usually enough for us to give you an initial estimate and a sense of whether we're the right fit. You don't need to have a technical brief prepared or know exactly what you want. Most of our clients come to us with a problem, not a specification. We help figure out the solution together.
